Pedagogical conditions of using the simulation modelling of tactical level in the process of future officers’ professional training

Abstract

The pedagogical conditions of using the simulation modelling of tactical level in the process of future officers’ professional training in the Armed Forces of Ukraine higher military education institutions are grounded in the article: using the NATO methods, adapted for the Ukrainian armed forces, in the future officers’ training; maximum approaching to real fighting situations in the PC simulation games by using real scenarios, which presuppose multiple repetition and correction of professional actions; designing advisory materials for teachers’ training and psychological support aimed at future officers’ understanding the role of PC simulation games as a means of preserving live power in the real fighting situations, forming the officers’ leadership qualities, forming the creative professional thinking. The conceptual basis of designing the process model of tactical training by means of simulation modelling are characterized: training process – managing the process of stage-by-stage mastering the professional activity that is performed under the given indicators and learning quality criteria; learned activity – a reflection of activity in combination with experience of its using to solve the practical tasks, learning quality criteria – a measure of formation the action properties. Modeling the tactical training process is interpreted as the construction of a model of complex object’s management, which includes: forming the training goals; selecting the quality indicators of the activity tasks learning; structural synthesis of the tactical training process model, selecting the structural elements and identifying their interconnections, decomposing the model, describing its structural elements; parametric synthesis of the model.
