Socio-cultural competence of future Bachelors on business economics

Abstract

Under global integration of different cultures a foreign language plays a crucial role in communicating and understanding for various languages, cultures and social spheres representatives. Over several decades, there are qualitative changes in the field of education. In particular, higher education  in economics  is more focused on future specialists’ individual development, creative initiative and mobility. Therefore, representatives of various sciences have the growing interest in the problem of socio-cultural competence formation for future specialists.

Contemporary social and cultural landscape in the world has also influenced the Ukrainian society. Information and technology industries changes have led the entire world as well as the Ukrainian society to setting new type of intercultural relations where the one-sided traditional  understanding  of education has lost its efficiency. There are new opportunities and prospects for cooperation with foreign countries, promoting the cultures dialogue development, different culture values interaction and understanding.

For this very reason the socio-cultural aspect is becoming crucial in future Bachelors on business economics education when they should have not only a defined knowledge-based system, inner and personal experience, but also be capable for real life situations creative simulating, intercultural and socio- cultural difficulties solving in independent way while communicating with different languages and cultures representatives and feel confident and comfortable in the foreign language socio-cultural environment.
