About the New Order of the Formation of the List of Scientific Professional Publications of Ukraine

The Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated January 15, 2018 No. 32 "On Approval of the Procedure for the Formation of the List of Scientific Professional Publications of Ukraine" came into force. Accordingly, the previous order of the Ministry of Education and Science, Youth and Sport of Ukraine dated October 17, 2012 No. 1111 has expired.

According to the new Order, the list of scientific periodicals of Ukraine included in the Scopus and / or Web of Science Core Collection databases (category A), editions included in the profile international science-computer databases, recommended by the Ministry of Education and Science, that meet the requirements of the sub-items 1-8 of clause 6 of the Procedure (category "B"), and scientific professional editions included in the List of scientific professional editions of Ukraine on the day of the entry into force of this order and which meet the requirements of sub-paragraphs 1-5 of this paragraph, taking into account the requirements of sub-clause 3 of clause 11 of this Procedure, for a term of two years (category "B"). We emphasize that all scientific professional publications included in the List on the day of approval of this Procedure shall be assigned the category "B". We ask all those responsible for publishing the editions of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine to draw attention to the fact that from now on the inclusion of publications in the Special List will take place according to new criteria and check the availability of its publication in the Lists of scientific professional editions of Ukraine.
