STATE OF DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIAL PARTNERSHIP IN VOCATIONAL (VOCATIONAL-TECHNICAL) EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS

Abstract

Relevance: Social partnership is an effective mechanism for the functioning and development of the vocational (vocational-technical) education system. It involves a special type of interaction between vocational education institutions and local executive authorities, employers, enterprises of various forms of ownership and subordination, employment services, and other interested partners in the development of vocational education. Social partnership is a natural result of the joint efforts of all the subjects of the public-private partnership. The effectiveness of social partnership will depend primarily on the purposeful and systematic work of vocational education institutions in attracting employers, representatives of government bodies, and public organizations to joint activities aimed at training qualified workers, as well as creating modern infrastructure for vocational education.

Objective: To characterize the state of development of social partnership in vocational (vocational-technical) education institutions.

Methods: Theoretical: analysis, synthesis, study of scientific research, educational and methodological literature, modern educational practices - to clarify the state of research on the problem of the development of social partnership in vocational education institutions; generalization, comparison, collation - to compare researchers' approaches to solving the problem; empirical: observation of the state of development of social partnership in vocational education institutions, surveys, testing, interviews - to determine the state of development of social partnership in vocational education institutions.

Results: The social partnership is analyzed in theory and educational practice, the peculiarities and tendencies of the partnership interaction of the State Educational Institution "Khmelnytskyi Center of Vocational Education in the Service Sector" with various structures, organizations, enterprises, and individual entrepreneurs in activities aimed at solving specific educational tasks and coordinating the interests of social partners are revealed.

Conclusions: It is justified that social partnership in vocational education institutions is an objective requirement of the time to ensure the economy of the country with qualified workers, to satisfy the needs of vocational education learners in general cultural, intellectual, and professional development in their chosen field of activity.
