FORMING THE PROFESSIONAL MOBILITY OF THE FUTURE ECONOMIST

Abstract

The theoretical analysis of the problem of forming the professional mobility as a priority factor of modernizing the future economists’ preparation is made in the article. It is revealed that to ensure the socio-economic development the state needs competitive specialists, who not only have the opportunity to choose, make important decisions and also be mobile at the labour market.
The article focuses on different approaches to interpreting the concepts “mobility” and “professional mobility”. It is proved that professional mobility is a complex phenomenon; its specifics is related to the sphere of person’s professional activity, depends on the person’s development level, his ability, readiness and desire to influence actively and transform the objective reality. The author pays special attention to forming the mobility as an integrated personal and professional quality of a modern economist in the cross-cutting continuous process of professional training. Professional mobility is a factor of competitiveness of specialists at the labour market.
It is established by summarizing research that professional mobility is the person’s ability to realize his need for a certain type of activity, which meets the abilities and capabilities of the individual to skillfully move from one level of professional activity to another, i.e. by expanding and deepening its character or level to reveal his professional competence.
