Requirements for fundamental research articles

The Editorial Board of the "Professional Pedagogics" journal places significant emphasis on fundamental research that establishes the theoretical and methodological foundations of modern vocational education. We welcome works aimed at the in-depth conceptualization of educational paradigms, the development of new theoretical models, and the evolution of scientific terminology.

Fundamental research articles must demonstrate a high level of critical analysis of global scientific achievements, logical rigor in argumentation, and offer a new vision for the strategic development of the field. A key requirement for manuscript acceptance is the conceptualization of findings through structural-logical diagrams and original models that reflect the novelty of the proposed theoretical framework.

The following table outlines the mandatory criteria for fundamental research submissions to be considered for publication:

Element Requirements and Content Specifications
Theoretical Significance The article must propose a new solution to a significant scientific problem, develop a new theory, or provide a conceptual re-evaluation of existing knowledge.
Systemic Review An in-depth critical analysis of global scientific literature. This should be a synthesis of ideas, identifying contradictions and gaps in existing theories.
Conceptual Modeling Presence of original models, structural-logical diagrams, or conceptual maps visualizing new theoretical relationships or frameworks.
Methodological Rigor A clear justification of the chosen theoretical research methods (e.g., comparative analysis, epistemological analysis, modeling).
Source Quality Reference list of 30–50 sources. Priority is given to seminal works and recent international publications (at least 30% from the last 5 years).
Logical Argumentation A clear logical progression from the analysis of existing paradigms to the formulation of original theoretical conclusions.
