Handicraft teachers training in Ukraine: history-pedagogical aspect
Abstract
The special aspects of future handicraft teachers training in Ukraine in the end of the XIX-XX centuries are shown. It was established that the need for beginning handicraft teachers training was attributed to rapid development of scientific and technological progress in the late XIX-early XX century. The stages of future handicraft teachers training in Ukraine during the specified period are outlined, leading tendencies are highlighted and characterized, educational legislation and normative documents determining the priorities of education field were analyzed. The special attention was paid to legislation and normative documents analysis, the ones not only determining labourforce recourses formation ways but also regulating the results- aimed humanistic and practical orientation of educational process to ensure handicraft specialists professional development. The curricula and programs are considered and described in different historical stages. Historical and pedagogical analysis of teachers training of Ukraine for teaching labour in general educational institutions in 1930-1980 was conducted. The attention was paid to 1950-1957 as a time of intensive development of handicraft teachers technical and technological training aligned with socio-economic and political orientations of labourforce recourses formation in the USSR. It emphasizes the growing relevance on studying the problem of handicraft teachers training in Ukraine for implementing vocational training for young students in various historical periods of modern pedagogical science and practice.
