Reference and Source Formatting Requirements
The manuscript must present bibliographic sources in two separate lists: “References” and “References (Translated and Transliterated)”.
References
The References list must be prepared in accordance with APA Style, 7th edition, remain unnumbered, and be organised alphabetically. Sources written in Cyrillic script are listed first, followed by those in Latin script.
APA 7 formatting guidelines and templates are available at:

References (Translated and Transliterated)
Following the References section, authors must provide the Romanisation (transliteration) of Cyrillic sources together with English translations of the titles of articles, journals or books, and publishers.
Example:
Zaiets, S. V. (2025). Porivnialna dynamika indeksu akademichnoi svobody Ukrainy ta krain svitu
Comparative dynamics of the academic freedom index in Ukraine and other countries\]. *Osvitnia analityka Ukrainy* \[*Educational Analytics of Ukraine*\], 2(35), 35–47. https://doi.org/10.32987/2617-8532-2025-2-35-47 \[in Ukrainian\].
If all sources cited in the manuscript are originally published in Latin script, the “References (Translated and Transliterated)” section is not included.
In-text Citations
In-text citations must comply with APA 7 requirements and be placed in parentheses, separated by commas, as follows:
(author’s surname, year of publication, cited pages).
Authors’ surnames in parentheses must be presented in the original language of the source.
Examples:
- (Curaj, 2024, 6–7)
- (Petrenko & Ivanov, 2026, 45)
- (Smyrnov et al., 2026, 34–35)
If the author’s surname is mentioned in the text, only the year of publication and cited pages are provided in parentheses.
Example:
As noted by L. Petrenko (2026, 3), […].
Digital Object Identifier (DOI)
To ensure high-quality scholarly referencing, authors must indicate the Digital Object Identifier (DOI) for each source where available. The DOI must be included in both the References and References (Translated and Transliterated) sections and presented in the following format:
https://doi.org/
Sources containing a DOI must constitute at least 50% of the total number of references listed.
Prohibition on the Use of the Aggressor State’s Language
For reasons of national security, manuscripts must not cite in the text nor include in the reference lists any sources published in the language of the aggressor state.
