Legal competence for VET schools pedagogical workers’ copyright protection: international aspect

Abstract

The article deals with the protection of copyrights of professional teaching staff in the VET of international systems of copyright and related rights. Attention is paid to international conventions and international treaties ratified by Ukraine.
The attention paid to: Universal Copyright Convention of 1952. Main goal of Conventions its - creating a universal regime for the conservation and protection of copyright in literary, scientific and artistic works internationally.
Considered Convention for the Protection of Producers of Phonograms Against Unauthorized Duplication of their productions which is aimed at government undertakes the protection of producers of phonograms who are nationals of other participating countries, from the production of copies of phonograms without the consent of the producer and import of copies every time mentioned production or importation is to spread them or their copies to the public.
Exposed position Berne Convention, whose main objective is the protection as effectively as possible. The main objective is to ensure the rights of authors and their literary and artistic works. Berne Convention set clear criteria for granting such legal protection.
Researched the position of the International Convention for the Protection of Performers, Producers of Phonograms and Broadcasting Organizations that introduced into a number of international law differential definitions such as "performers", "soundtrack", "producer of phonograms," "publication," "play" "TV and radio", "Relay".
