Safety culture as a condition for implementation of future builders’ professional identity

Abstract

The article deals with the concept of "professional identity". The necessity of education of safety culture as a condition of implementation of professional identity of future skilled workers building structure is proved. It is determined that the education of future builder professional identity through strengthening professional-important qualities necessary to carry out a process of training and development. The basic functions and sources of professional identity and a common algorithm mastering safety culture issues in professional activity of vocational education are shown. It is analyzed professionally important for the future of the builder of personal qualities necessary for an application of the algorithm. Among them: increasing of attention, its concentration, distribution and switching, motor, language and logical kinds of memory, spatial imagination, spatial thinking and practice.
The specified priority areas, describing the formation of professional culture of safety in professional schools are shown. These areas include: general theoretical training to safe professional activities (awareness of common problems risk safety hazards, etc.); mastering practical and professional skills of solving problems both during professional activities in a safe environment and in terms of the threat to life and health of workers; foundations of psychological training to safe professional activity (create a positive psychological climate in the team, the ability to communicate with customers, cultivating reasonable risk preparedness, determination, courage, etc.); development of personal qualities needed to perform a safe profession.
