German language as the one of professional direction in VET schools
Abstract
The article represents specific features of German language learning as a professional one in German VET schools. The specific features and differences were outlined on the basis of conducted studies of learning German language for everyday and professional communication. One of these studies is the project
«German at the working place». It was being conducted from 2007 till 2011 at Folkswagen enterprise by Germanistik Institute. The results of that study showed the another specific of languagecommunicative activity at work place from the one in everyday life. To form training content the main tasks are to outline the specific communication situation in the framework of future professional activity, its participants and the goal of that communication activity. The particular example of communication need is represented via occupation of “Mechatronic”. The important output of the study is that taking guidance on working communication needs, its participants and their working activity. The specific role in this process belongs to dialogue techniques aimed on learning structures but not separated words. The examples of those results are represented in the article.
