Theoretical principles of development of the key competencies of students at the vocational schools with the help of interactive technologies

Abstract

The key competencies are represented in the article as the necessary condition of the present, caused by the influence of technology on the development of the individual, social life in general and the labor market. The essence of the concept of “competence” and “competences” is specified. Two groups of life skills are compared: soft skills and hard skills, which are an integral part of the professionalism and effectiveness of future professionals. The urgency of the consideration of the problem of development of vocational schools students’ inter-professional skills is substantiated on the basis of theoretical analysis. The need to form   the key competencies that contribute to a successful personal and professional career is emphasized. The developed key competences of vocational schools graduates are considered as a pedagogical goal, a basic indicator of educational outcomes that fully reflects the needs of the individual, society and employers. The development of “soft skills” of future skilled workers involves the ability of self-development, creative  and critical thinking, and the ability to form your own thoughts, allows adapting to the new conditions, performing non-standard tasks. The effectiveness of the use of interactive technologies in the educational process of the vocational (vocational and technical) schools is emphasized aimed at the development of  the key competencies. The interactive technologies tools as mechanisms for attracting students to activities that promote the development of “soft skills” are reviewed.
