Socio-Psychological Factors of Influence on Professional Career of Students of Vocational Schools

Abstract

The article presents an analysis of socio-psychological factors of influence on the planning and implementation of professional careers in Ukrainian vocational schools. The analysis includes: analytical materials of the Committee on Science and Education of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, statistical materials of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, the State Employment Service, Internet resources (Eurostat Educational Statistics, UNESCO Database), information materials on the websites of regional departments of vocational education and training, analytical and statistical materials of the Ukrainian media on the reform of vocational education and training, scientific publications, devoted to the analysis of various factors influencing the formation of human capital in the system of vocational education. The analysis was carried out with regard to the value, status, procedural and individual-personal approaches to the definition of the professional careers. The main criteria of analysis were: social and psychological factors of influence on the professional career of the individual, its life goals, values and motives. The generalization of social and psychological factors of influence on professional career of the individual allows to formulate a number of basic provisions regarding the factors of improving the quality of training of students of vocational education to the design and implementation of their professional careers.
