Country-studying as a way of educational activity
Abstract
In the sphere of education country-studying is considered, first of all, in a context of satisfying of var- ious cognitive needs of a growing generation, formation of an appropriate system of values concerning per- ception of an environing world. Moreover, country-studying contributes to a development of mental, social, moral, patriotic, national, and multicultural upbringing functions at all educational levels, hence securing thorough development of a person, leisure time organization. Country-studying can be considered as a spark that inflames interest in researching factors of a motherland studying. One of the ways of a country-studying activity is an organization of cognitive touristy arrangements as for studying a motherland, its natural, his- torical and architectural values. Organization of excursions and tours, summer camps and green schools can be considered as an important factor of an educational process of a modern youth concerning a good attitude to acquirements of one’s state. Functions, principles, methods and organizational ways of such forms of an educational work shape knowledge of an environment, natural, architectural, and historical memorials serv- ing as a main source of a teacher’s activity in upbringing a real patriot of a state who has contemporary level of cognitive values.
