METHODOLOGICAL FEATURES OF QUALITY ASSESSMENT OF THE TRAINING OF SPECIALISTS IN CONSTRUCTION COLLEGES
Abstract
Relevance: The education of students in educational institutions of the construction profile has always been aimed at mastering activities related to the creation of specific vital objects: buildings, communications, sports complexes, bridges and other structures. Modern socio-economic conditions and new priorities of education, associated with the change of educational paradigms, which fix the transition from mass-reproductive forms and methods of teaching to individual-creative ones, are conditioned by the preparation of future specialists for a professionally competent entry into the labor market with firmly formed needs in permanent professional self-education determines the objective necessity of using adequate forms and methods of monitoring the formation of students' competencies.
All this emphasizes the expediency and importance of researching the methodological features of assessing the quality of specialist training in construction colleges.
Purpose: The purpose of the article is to reveal the methodological features of assessing the quality of training of students of vocational higher education in colleges of the construction profile.
Methods: To achieve the goals of the article, a set of interrelated research methods was used. Theoretical methods: study of philosophical, psychological-pedagogical, methodical literature and regulatory documentation regarding the researched problem; comparative analysis, synthesis, classification, generalization regarding the problem and subject of research; empirical methods: observation, conversation, study and generalization of the experience of pedagogical activity.
Results: The study of issues of evaluation of the quality of training of specialists made it possible to determine that its ultimate goal is the result of training, that is, the formation of competencies of future specialists. In turn, the evaluation of the development of students' competencies allows improving the learning process, creating opportunities for improving the learning process. The analysis of the experience of training future construction workers makes it possible to assert that the peculiarities of the quality assessment of the training of specialists in the colleges of the construction profile are the predominance of forms and methods of graphic assessment. The methods and forms of graphic assessment of the success of students, future construction workers, were analyzed.
Conclusions: The use of methods and forms of graphic assessment of the success of students, future builders by pedagogical workers gives an answer to the question: to what extent is the professional training of specialists carried out in an institution of vocational pre-higher education.
