CONCEPTUAL ASPECTS OF DEVELOPING PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE OF SKILLED WORKERS IN THE SERVICE SECTOR

Abstract

Relevance: The development of professional competence of skilled workers in the service sector throughout their lifetime is the main condition for the success of beauty industry masters, enhancing their competitiveness in the dynamically changing conditions of the present. Professional competence combines all spheres of personality and is the main goal that a person should strive for in the path of professional formation. The article highlights the conceptual aspects of the development of professional competence of skilled workers in the service sector.

The aim of this article is to illuminate the conceptual aspects of the development of professional competence of skilled workers in the service sector.

Methods: In the process of scientific search, methods of analysis, synthesis - to clarify the conceptual aspects of the development of professional competence of skilled workers in the service sector; methods of generalization and systematization - for formulating personal views on the interpretation of the essence of basic concepts related to the phenomenon of "professional competence of skilled workers in the service sector".

Results: The results of definitive analysis of the definition of professional competence of skilled workers in the service sector are presented. Components of professional competence of skilled workers in the service sector, basic methodological approaches, principles, factors, pedagogical conditions for the development of professional competence of skilled workers in the service sector are singled out. The main components of the process of developing professional competence of skilled workers in the service sector are characterized, and a model of this process as a structure uniting four interrelated blocks: methodological-target, subject, content-technological and diagnostic-resultant, is presented. The structural model of the development of professional competence of skilled workers in the service sector reflects justified tasks, methodological approaches, principles, factors, pedagogical conditions, structural components, criteria, indicators regarding the projected phenomenon.

Conclusions: The highlighted aspects of the development of professional competence of skilled workers in the service sector based on the identified directions and stages of problem solving are an attempt to justify theoretical and methodological concepts of the development of this integrative personality trait of a skilled worker in the service sector.
