FORMATION OF WORK SAFETY CULTURE OF THE TECHNICAL SPECIALISTS
Abstract
Relevance: low motivation to increase occupational safety not only among employers, but also among employees themselves, insufficient awareness of the personnel of organizations about professional risks associated with the performance of labor functions, raises the question of the purposeful formation of a culture of occupational safety among students of higher educational institutions.
Obective: analyze the specific features of the safety culture formation of future specialists in the process of training in higher education institutions, develop directions for ensuring the efficiency of the study of occupational safety disciplines.
Methods: theoretical (analysis and synthesis, abstraction and idealization, generalization); empirical (study of literature, observation, conversation, survey, study of the results of educational activities, experiment); statistical (methods of processing statistical data, Pearson's χ2 test)
Results: the occupational safety culture development depends on theoretical knowledge obtained during training and awareness of the importance of safety in professional activity. Taking into account the identified factors of the formation of occupational safety culture, ways to ensure the effectiveness of the study of occupational safety disciplines.
Conclusions: results confirm that the solution of the problem dealing with the formation of the culture of occupational safety of future specialists in technical specialties in the process of professional training is possible only if the student is transformed from a passive consumer of ready-made knowledge into an active researcher. The prospects for further research are the development of methodological principles for the formation of a culture of occupational safety, taking into account the peculiarities of the professional training of future specialists.
