Problems of formation career orientations vocational students

Abstract

In the article the necessity of organizing career counseling vocational schools. The article summarizes empirical research career orientations of modern Ukrainian youth. It was found that current research career orientations is mostly based on the concept of anchor E. Shane questionnaire using the "Anchor career." Based on the analysis of theoretical sources was separated and analyzed basic concepts that are important in the process of organizing career counseling students, career orientation, individual attitude to his own career, career, career competence, readiness for selection and implementation professional career. The conclusion about the necessity of purposeful systematic work to ensure appropriate conditions for the development of individual career orientations in terms of vocational schools. It is shown that the modern student's youth is increasingly focused on the image of a successful person, formed in Western culture and actively pervasive media. Vocational school students seeking to improve their own social status and want a professional competence demanded by the market. This necessitates revision of the entire modern system of vocational education, including the improvement of the educational process in vocational schools to form highly qualified professionals with a strong competitive position in the labor market.
Therefore, acquire relevance problem of increasing the quality of diagnosis of career orientations of students of vocational schools, the formation of readiness of graduates of vocational education for successful professional activity, providing a vocational professional advice on the choice and implementation of pupils
professional career.
