Modern teaching trends of drug technology
Abstract
The article indicates the relevance of professional training in pharmaceutical industry, due to the revival of extemporal formulation in Ukraine, the desire of
citizens to receive medical services of an adequate level, namely, to use medications of the highest quality. Recently, the interest in applicants with a high level of IQ, the professional intelligence and EI, which involve the ability to sense, understand and effectively apply emotions, to provide a sufficient indicator of cooperation and effectiveness, to bring intelligence to emotions which is very important in further professional activity, has increased in the labour market.
The necessity of renewal and improvement of education for pharmacists through innovative methods and interactive approach of professional education in the pharmaceutical university is justified. The organization of teaching of discipline "Drug technology" at National Pharmaceutical University at the Drug technology department is presented. Innovative activities used by teachers of the department for involving students in the learning process, organization of their joint activity and productive interaction that provides formation of life and professional skills, contributes to effective learning are described. It is noted that transition to a new level of education allows students of pharmaceutical universities to create a reserve of theoretical knowledge and practical skills, to expand intellectual and emotional features of personality, such as attention span, ability to distribute it; observation; the ability to analyse activities of the partner, to see his motives, goals, which contributes to better social adaptation and success in career and other spheres of adulthood.
